- I've lived in a number of middle eastern countries, and with the exception of Saudi Arabia, there is always a government-licensed liquor store in major cities. There is always a way around the license. There is always a way to drink, if you really feel like you have to.

- When he gets out of prison in 14 years, I hope the US Courts have his extradition papers in place so we can try him for Natalie Holloway's murder. As far as I'm concerned, this guy WILL spend the rest of his life in either prison or court. There is justice in this world.

- Thank you, ram. Somebody needed to say it, and as you pointed out, no one knows her reason for flying. The article does not state the mother was even Filipino, or that she wants to "anchor" her baby for citizenship, we just have a lot of people ass-uming she is.

- The moment you enter a US-bound, American-registered plane, you are technically on US soil. From there, it's a crapshoot from state to state as to what the birth certificate will say.
